Why can’t I redeem my code through the McDonald's redemption link?

If you’ve already created a WithU account directly in the app before visiting the redemption link, you won’t be able to redeem your code through that page.
This happens because the redemption link is designed for creating an account.

When you try to sign in with the email and password you used in the app, the system will reject them since the link expects a brand-new account.

What to do instead:

  1. Open the WithU app on your device.

  2. Make sure you’re logged in to your existing account.

  3. On the Home Screen, select the top left icon (this will navigate you to your profile)

  4. Click the Settings Icon (top right)

  5. Scroll down to 'General'

  6. Click "Redeem Offer"

  7. Enter your code.

If redeeming your code via the app does not work, please contact our support team and let us know you’ve already created your account.

Tip: If you haven’t created your account yet, it’s best to use the redemption link first — it will guide you through the correct setup and automatically apply your offer.
